Interests

Technical: systems, compilers, machine learning, and astrophysics.

Computer use: keyboard-driven workflows, including mouseless [https://mouseless.click] and spacemacs [https://www.spacemacs.org].

Small things: credit card points, class requirement optimization, and other semi-useless optimization problems.

Elsewhere: reading, hiking, working out, and flying RC planes. I recently hiked and camped along Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites.

Work

I currently work at Jane Street. Before that I interned at Stripe and started a startup working on agentic commerce by simulating how agents find, evaluate, and buy products.

I have also done research on compiler optimizations in PyTorch and recurrent neural network methods for finding exomoons.

I am interested in startups, especially ones with technical questions around systems, ML, or performance.
